THE VALUE OF ONE.
Phillip Said "yes"!
In Acts 8:25-40, we are introduced to a man named Phillip who was led by the Holy Spirit into the desert to meet a Ethiopian Eunuch, explain the Gospel to him, and baptize him.
Church history tells us, almost 2,000 years ago, this Ethiopian Eunuch took Christianity back home with him to Ethiopia and converted the whole region!
In the end, the YES of one man to God's calling has affected an entire region of the world for thousands of years - right up till today!
What Your "Yes" to Hope Encounter Has Meant So Far
- In the village of Won-rock in South Sudan, a 104 year old woman was able to hear the gospel in her own language, for the first time, and accept Christ as her LORD and Savior.
- A woman contemplating suicide come to our annual Wau Hope Outreach conference to say goodbye to a friend and, while there, she encountered the LORD and surrendered to Him.
- A nine year old orphan named Paul has graduated from kindergarten and is now in second grade and thriving.
- Another nine year old named Anderia, whose father has passed and mother is deaf, is now also in second grade and thriving.
These two women and these two little boys are not only alive today, but their names are written in the book of life, because you said YES!
